Seasoned Commercial Bankers Join KANZA Bank’s Growing Team

Wichita, KS (May 10, 2023) — KANZA Bank is thrilled to announce the hiring of Guy Wenzel as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banker and Robinn Carr as Assistant Vice President, Treasury Management Officer.

Guy Wenzel comes to KANZA Bank with over 20 years of experience. Wenzel is well-rounded in banking, having worked in various customer-facing areas, beginning while a student at Wichita State University. He most recently served as Vice President of Commercial Banking for Simmons Bank for over 10 years. Wenzel will serve customers in the Greater Wichita area.

KANZA Bank’s Chief Credit Officer, Brent Groves, describes Wenzel as, “a Wichita native [who] truly knows this community and loves to help business owners achieve their goals.” Groves is confident that KANZA Bank’s customers will appreciate Wenzel’s genuine level of personal attention and professionalism.

With over 13 years of experience in banking, Robinn Carr has a proven track record in developing and maintaining commercial and small business connections, and will be a new addition to KANZA Bank’s treasury department. She will work with current customers at all locations while building new client relationships. Prior to her recent position as Treasury Management Officer for Equity Bank, Carr worked in the Kansas Region Treasury department for RCB Bank.

Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Jeff Ronen emphasizes that in addition to Robinn’s professionalism and energetic enthusiasm for service, her “industry experience and product knowledge speak for themselves. She is a legitimate treasury management expert.”

Both Wenzel and Carr will work out of Regency Lakes in East Wichita.
